What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a tracked URL that identifies AussieDeutsch as the source of a referral to a third-party website. When you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase (or in some cases, a signup or booking), the merchant pays AussieDeutsch a commission as a thank-you for the referral.
The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use an affiliate link or go directly to the merchant's website. Affiliate commissions are paid by the merchant from their marketing budget — they are not added to your purchase price.
Why We Use Affiliate Links
AussieDeutsch is a free resource. All articles, guides, and tools on this site are available at no cost to readers. Affiliate commissions help cover the costs of running the site — hosting, domain registration, research time, and content production.
